Snow Day!!!

It actually snowed in Dallas! I was so happy to look out the window yesterday and see it snowing. I don't think Emory shared my level of enthusiasm, but she liked looking out the window. I didn't realize how much I miss the cold until it snowed. I found out later that not all of Dallas got snow, but just our little neighborhood. How lucky was I? I did not take Emory outside, maybe next time we will get bundled up.
Sitting by the front door looking at the snow.
We took Emory to visit Santa again last weekend, with the same result. No crying, no smiling, just staring.
Grant and I decided that Emory needed to start pulling her weight around the house, so we gave her some chores. She loves the dishwasher and will bolt towards it anytime its open. What a helpful little girl!
We went for Emory's one year appointment last week and here are pictures from our first visit and the one year check up.
Bitty baby!
One year old! Not a wonderful picture but she wouldn't sit still. Here are her stats from the appointment.
Weight: 20.2 lbs. (45%) and length: 29 1/2 (65%) She is still battling a runny nose and cough but other than that she is doing great!
