Busy Week for a Big Girl...

Our little one year old has had a busy week. Since turning one, Emory has so many things to do. She is loving her books right now and I guess she has had a lot of reading to catch up on. Grandpa and Grandma Zimmerman bought her a new dollhouse bookshelf for her birthday and she loves keeping all her books on it.

Time for some of Dad and Mom's books. She had to practice her guitar. Like father like daughter! We went to do some Christmas shopping with our friends Kristi and Carson and at the end of our trip the kids didn't seem to want to leave. This was the cutest hand holding ever! The biggest moment of the week for Emory was getting to see SANTA!! We went to get our ticket one morning and talked about it all day with Emory until we went back. We told her about him until we went back getting her ready for the big moment.

Waiting in line with mom.Emory did fantastic with Santa! She was absolutely mesmerized!! Our normally photogenic baby who smiles for the camera was staring at Santa and did not smile at all. I'm sure we will take a trip back to see him again and give it another try, but we were so proud of Emory for being a big girl. Even Santa commented on how well behaved she was for being a one year old! Never bad to get in good with Santa before Christmas.

Like mother , like daughter. We
never got a picture of Chelle on
Santa.s lap until she was almost
in Jr. High. I think she was a
little intimidated by his beard
and suit. What a cute picture of
Carson & Emmy holding hands.
love grandpa & grandma zz
