Happy Easter!!

We started off our Easter weekend with an Easter party on Saturday at the church where Emory goes to school. Things kicked off with an Easter egg hunt. She has had some practice before this, so she knew just what to do. You can see she was right in front waiting to go.

They had a face painting station and we decided Emory should try it. She was an adorable puppy! She is still talking about getting her face painted and I think we will keep hearing about her being a puppy. She started off unsure about the whole thing...

They also had a petting zoo, which Emory was a huge fan of. She kept petting the "baby deer", as she called it, which really was a goat. I don't know how she even knows what a deer is, but we went with it.

Then today, Sunday, we went to church and then headed over to Uncle Ryan and Aunt Jenny's house for lunch. They were so kind to invite us over. Yummy Honey Baked Ham! We were fortunate enough to get a picture with all the kids (semi smiling).

The Dess family of 4! Emory is super happy because Ella was getting into jammies for nap time and Emory could see her tummy. She LOVES Ella Grace!

Aunt Jenny was too kind and hid Easter eggs for Emory. She has so much fun finding them in the yard. When we got back inside Emory had fun pouring out the candy on the floor with Uncle Ryan. Thank you so much for inviting us over for lunch you guys!
