Well it happened, Blazer fought the good fight. Grant has had the same car since he was in college, he sold it when he moved overseas, and bought it back when he returned. He was a one car type of guy. But, Thursday night on the way home from work Grant's car overheated and the repair bill was more than the value of the car. (Not Grant's sentimental value, but the resale value.) So after much thought we decided it was time to say our good-byes to Blazer and get a new car.
Even at the dealership Grant said he was going to find what scrap yard Blazer was going to so he could get it back. But I think driving his new car around with cold AC in the Texas summer will heal his pain.

blazor, i know it is hard to let
those old memories go but by now
are enjoying having a reliable car
with ac in Dallas. We still look
at Jimmys when we see an old one
