To say that our little baby is growing up is an understatement. She is getting so big and so busy that it seems like she is different daily. Emory is now in her "big girl" car seat (but still facing backwards).
"Ready for take off!"
We put her in the chair in the living room to make sure the straps would fit before getting it all set in the car.
Emory has started to watch more VeggieTales and some baby Einstein movies. She still has a short attention span, but I thought she looked so funny reclining back, watching her show. Just like daddy!
She has been very busy this past week increasing her independence. On Thursday, Emory sat up all by herself with out pulling on anything to help her, then Saturday morning she was standing in her crib waiting for us to get her.
Here is Emory bringing me the magazine she was tearing to pieces.
Emory has learned to say hi to people, cars, pets, almost anything, but in this video she is talking to the cars. The bad news is it sounds NOTHING like hi and no one knows that is what she is doing. Dad and Mom have to tell people what she is saying, and if people don't talk back to her she keeps doing it over and over. So if you see us out, please say hi to our daughter.
The family went to the park on Saturday and Grant got to show Emory how to go down all the slides. We were so lucky that uncle Ryan and aunt Jenny got to stop by and help Emory swing.

Big Girl Emmy! Nicely done, lady!! Big changes are happening for sure - don't tell Abi the secret of standing up quite yet.
Emma has the same car seat! Isn't sad when they start growing out of things. It means they are getting to be big girls! It flies by so fast! She gets cuter every time you post pictures.
