I think this past month should be called Busy Bee month because our little baby has turned into such an active and curious baby. She yells when we take things away that she wants but can't have and she makes the funniest noise when we see people and they don't acknowledge her quick enough, which is wonderful at the mall when there are so many people to say hello to her. She is still doing her army crawl, but we are trying to encourage the real way to crawl. She still sleeps about 10 hours a night with 2 naps during the day.

Emory had her 9 month check up on Thursday and things went great. It's so different now that she kicks and slams her legs down on the scale, the nurse had to be patient for Emory to sit still.
Emory weighed 18 lbs 14 oz (50%) and her length was 29 1/4 in (95%). We got the go ahead to give her almost anything to eat that is soft. For some reason Grant and I got very excited about this and thought about Thanksgiving and how she could really eat dinner. Mmmmm, turkey and mashed potatoes.We went out to dinner Thursday night with our friends Donald, Angela and Abi. Of course the girls wanted to sit together!
When we were taking Emory's 9 month pictures, a game of peek-a-boo started. She is so proud of herself when we see her.
