Emory Is One Cool Chick!!!

I love this picture of Emory. My dad put some of my old sunglasses on her in the car and she kept them on! I was shocked. She even pulled down the glasses and looked over the top, it was so funny.

You can't see in the sunglasses picture but Emory has been rocking the pigtails lately. My favorite part is that they stick straight out to the side!

More of the Arboretum...

Of course we have been at the Arboretum. It's been nice, Emmy can run, and since we have a membership I feel like every time I go I am getting an even better deal. I keep thinking someday she will ask why our grass isn't that green (tough luck daddy) or why we don't have that many flowers.
Running for the squirrel!!Peek-a-boo, I see you!I took Emmy by the frog fountains, which were turned off that day. It was good because she could explore without getting soaked. The funniest thing was when she sat down in front of the frog and just happened to sit the same way. Such a cute little girl!We love meeting our friend Carson at the Arboretum. He is always on the go but that is why the Arboretum is so good. This is the only picture I got of the two kids.
Running around...
Taking a break...
And we're off again!
Emmy really enjoys riding in the wagon, and Carson liked it too as long as it kept moving!
Love you little Em!

Jaypa and Nanny Dess' Visit...

Emory's Jaypa and Nanny (Grant's parents) came for a visit and we had such a great time! Just like every other time family comes down, we forget to take pictures, but here are the few that we have. Jaypa and Nanny brought Emory some little slippers that jingle when she walks. Surprisingly, Emory thought they were fun too! I like knowing where she is when she has them on. We took Grant's parents to the Arboretum while they were here. Emory loves to run around the grassy lawn and tackle the steps. It was such a beautiful day! Emory was hiding in the wagon.
Emory is pointing out the fish.
We also took Emory by the frog fountains. I she liked them.Way to go Arboretum for having such amazing tulips!!

Our Little Cowgirl!!!

Grandpa Zimmerman made Emory a rocking horse for Christmas, and we thought it was going to be such a long time until she would be able to use it by herself. I guess we need to get use to being surprised at how quickly Emory learns things. Emory is so independent and loves to rock all by herself. She can really get rocking and moves the horse across the room.

Special Daddy-Daughter Moment...

Grant is such a loving father. He is so attentive to Emory and is so much more fun that I am. The two of them have so many good times together that I have no worries when I am away. But then there are the times when they get a little silly, and during those times all I can say is thank goodness there is a mama.

Here are some funny pictures of Emory taking it easy one night.

Kisses!!!

Uncle Rhino is 30...

Emory's uncle Ryan turned 30! Yikes. He had a great birthday party on Saturday and of course Emory had to wear her party dress. Emory had a great time exploring their house again, and eating the yummy food. We are so glad that we have uncle Ryan and aunt Jenny close by. Thanks for letting us celebrate with you and we hope you had a great birthday Ryan, we love you!!

Emory has now learned to take the bow out of her hair. Sad day for her mama.

It was a full time job keeping Emory from pulling all the things from Jenny's kitchen cabinets.

Happy 30th Birthday Ryan!
