Easter Weekend...

Our Easter weekend started off by enjoying some amazing weather. We recently got the kids this sand and water table and it is a HIT!

 Gabe would rather climb the stairs than do anything else.

 Emory's pre school had an egg hunt, which had to be moved in doors because it sprinkled that morning. She was an egg collecting fool!

 No, not just another date night. We went to a fantastic 80's themed birthday party and paid a babysitter for the first time.

 After naps it was egg hunt time. Emory once again cleaned up and Gabe didn't care. He was so over the egg hunt by this point.

Spring Time Fun!!!

Grandpa and grandma Zimmerman came to visit last weekend and we decided to get out and enjoy the sunshine! The Arboretum has beautiful flowers right now and some new play houses for the kids to check out.

Our march madness

Gabe got a basketball hoop for Christmas and now knows how to make baskets. The kids decided to shoot some hoops before bed the other night.

Dallas Zoo and Peek-a-Boo

Last week was spring break and we made a trip to the Dallas Zoo. Normally I avoid super crowded places, but my friend was going and we needed plans. I am so glad that we did! The Dallas Zoo has a new exhibit about animals from Africa. It did not disappoint... YOU CAN FEED GIRAFFES!!!! Amazing.

 Emory just gave the giraffe her lettuce. Yummy.

 My friend's daughter, Ava, was such a good buddy for Emory. Emory did everything Eva did, and when Emory would run in a different direction we would send Ava to bring her back. When it was lunch time, both girls ran into the restaurant and grabbed blue cotton candy and pink juice bottles.

 So I did not do the best job taking pictures at the zoo. Espcially because there are none of Gabe. But this will make up for all that. Gabe found a new hidhing spot. He loves to play peek-a-boo from around the side of the dryer. Now Emory joins in and they both hide back there.

The Many Faces Of The Dess Children...

My kids are just silly. So many pictures, so many outcomes. I will spare you all the pictures of my children with eyes half closed, drool on their chin, mouth open, etc, but trust me there are plenty.

A Glimpse At Our House...

We have been in the house for about 3 months now. We have replaced somethings and are in the process of many. There is not a single thing on the walls, which drives me crazy, but then I am reminded at least we are in our house.
