One Year Old!!!

We so love this guy! He has the sweetest little personality and is super easy going. Gabe is simply wonderful. I think he is already trying to make us laugh! And oh how he loves his sister.

Gabe loves to eat. His favorite foods are veggie crunchies (we call them baby cheetos), strawberries, animal crackers, cheese and pizza. He now has the two middle bottom teeth and the two middle upper teeth. Look for some super cute grins soon! He just learned to drink from a sippy cup, so hopefully we can say good bye to the bottle. He is standing by himself and walks behind toys. Gabe says dada and baba, no mama yet. :(

 Gabe is such a big strong boy. Thinking back to when he was teeny tiny makes me sad, but so happy with the son I have.

Gabe's One!!!

Happy first birthday sweet baby boy! I am so amazed that Gabe is already a year. We were happy that his birthday fell on a Saturday and his party was on his actual birthday. Gabe's friends came over for some lunch and play time. Gabe had a fireman themed party which was super fun!

Well, the birthday cake....  It started off with everyone singing. As you can see Gabe didn't know what to think about that.

 We got Gabe a race car for his birthday and both kids love it.

After his birthday nap Gabe ended up at the after hours pediatrician for an ear infection that did not go away. So we started another antibiotic and he had a 103.5 fever tonight. Poor little guy, no way to celebrate a birthday!

Little Ballerina...

This weekend, we had something happen that I have been dreaming about.... Emory's first dance class. My goodness she is a doll! Her teeny tiny ballet shoes, and the little leotard. Oh, I love it. Both kids slept until 8:40 that morning and so we got there a little late and I didn't know if she would be scared, but we got her shoes on and in she went. I had to fight every urge to take a bazillion pictures, but look at her! (pony tail on the bottom right) This was literally the first minute of class and she just sat down and followed direction.

 The teacher said she did great. On the way home I asked Emory is she wanted to go back to class next week. She said, "no........ I want to go back now!" When we got home she showed daddy everything she learned.

 Somehow dance class made her even more silly...
