Thursday morning, Grant woke me up (a dangerous thing to do if not for the right reasons) to have me see the snow. He said, "you need to see this because I don't know if it will still be here later." We were wrong! It snowed all day Thursday, and not wimpy snow that we normally get, big fluffy snow that is fun! It ended up being the most snow that Dallas has ever had from one storm. Grant got off work early and took Emory out to play. He stopped at Target on the way home to get her some gloves (no real need for gloves in Dallas) and there weren't any left but a blue pair that were too big. But at least she had gloves! They built a snowman and made snow angels.
Gabe even got in on the fun!! Too cute!
Building the snowman...
Yummy snow!
The finished product!
Gabe and I stayed nice and warm inside...
We had to drag Emory inside kicking and screaming. She loved being out in the snow, which makes Grant and I so proud (being from Nebraska). Grant and Emory went back out the next day and did more snow angels and went sledding. Because we don't get much snow, we had to use the lid to a plastic storage bin for the sled. Emory had a blast!
Emory loves wearing her gloves. If we go out, she needs her gloves and even if we are at home, the gloves are an accessory to be worn!
