We had the sonogram this morning and found out that it is indeed a girl! Everything is looking real healthy, we were able to see the cerebelum, kidneys, arm and leg bones, the lens of the eye, 4 chambers of the heart, and good blood flow. The nurse had trouble getting the measurements at first because baby was squirming around so much (but no hiccups this time). We decided that baby may have inherited the "little J.A." gene. For those of you who know Grant's dad, when he was a kid his mom would literally put a leash on him because he was so wild and energetic. So we may have that to look forward to.
It's such a great feeling to know what we are having. Chelle is a planner and can now get the nursery under way. It's funny to think about all the differences that come with a girl vs. a boy. Pigtails, makeup, dates (once she's 25), wedding, etc. We can't wait.

Congrats to you both! Matt and I are SO excited! You will have a precious little girl, and we can't wait to take pictures of her and Carson together!
